Posters - Les affiches des règlements

Here are the posters I've created for this first week. Guess this means another trip to the laminator :-)

  1. I am so excited to run across your blog! I teach high school French 1-3 in a non-immersion (not so much as HEARD of immersion) setting, although I would prefer to use that model. I am constantly having trouble combining the schools of thought that I've studied with the curriculum and (the bane of my existence in the classroom) the supplied textbook.

If you've got any advice, I'd love to hear it! I have 9th-12th graders, and they know zero french from the outset.

  2. If your students have never had French before, I think you'll want to look at AIM Language (also known as the gesture approach but your high school students won't need to gesture back :-))
Look at their Jeunesse kits! Plays, music, dance! I've done "Salut mon ami !" with a lot of success and fun - think music video - think video play :-) What an excellent program.
